My Thoughts

I was really disappointed when Talivar was introduced this new book of the Abby Sinclair series because i was already hooked on the Abby and Brystion love story. There was much more about Talivar than Brystion and i noticed i was looking forward to the pieces with Brystion in it and finally wishing that something happened with Talivar because he was standing in the way of more stories of my favorite love couple Abby and Brystion of course Talivar has his own story and he has a sexy, dark pirate vibe. But what i really wanted to know is what happened with Brystion on who did he feed when Abby wasn’t around??

Phin was fun as ever … the unicorn is as real bastard, over-sexed and quick with the remarks as ever. Phin is a nice side-kick in this story with funny comments that cracked me up real good.

Only the end …. the end has it’s own twist i really not liked… i’ts a major cliff hanger! A Trace of Moonlight is released (10/30/12)

My Thoughts
Just when i think i have read al the fun paranormal romance series with a strong heroine i came across this very addictive series! Allison Pang is one of the authors that gave a fix to my paranormal romance cravings. She has created a unique world full of supernatural beings (“OtherFolk”) demons, incubus, demons, angels, vampires and over-sexed unicorns. Pang’s main characters Abby and Brystion are fun and real. Pang sets a great story that pulls you in!

Site-note: … not a 5 star because Abby reminds me of Mac from Karen Marie Moning’s Fever series only Abby’s less of a kick-ass heroine. She also works in a library and comes in contact with a dark figure named Brystion just like Byron. It also contained the shadow world and the mirrors. But A Brush of Darkness was easier to read with more romance, humor and hot sparks! Just to give you a heads-up! If you think you have read most PRN series with strong heroines and looking for a new fix… serious, read this fantastic series it will get you hooked!
