My Thoughts
This is really a strange (read: ridiculous, bad) book about Tully Sullivan also named Ysolde, who has little memory of her past. After she blacks out she wake up in a strange place, later she gets visions about a time when she was Ysolde who lived in the past (dungeons and dragons theme) and discovered that she’s a dragon and is mated to (enemy) dragon. But soon after the first few pages i noticed the writing and layout where off… The whole time i was bouncing between past and present in the story. The story changes in time without letting you know when it happend No line, No heads-up… Nothing. I had to backtrack every time like three sentences after I realized that the present/past had changed again!
I’am reading 99% romance because i like the storyline, kisses, hot scenes, happy endings and a lot more just the same as everyone else but after reading like 250 pages i read that they already mated in the past? It was just like … When?, What?, Where? How? she was 17? … doesn’t this event get a few lines in the book?.” Shortly after that i have stopped reading the book 🙁
All in all, almost 2 stars. I did enjoy it, but it involved ignoring a lot of bad caracters, timeline confusion and skipping a lot of pages! (1 star just for the cover, 1/2 for the rest)
