For those readers who may not know you, please tell them a few tidbits about Jefferson? Jefferson is the love interest in Eleanor’s Heart, one of the last survivors of the Vampire race. He’s dedicated most of his life to destroying the Sanguine – the animalistic sub-species that is the truth behind the vampire myth, as dangerous to Vampires as they are human beings.
Questions we asked Jefferson!
What did you do before the story begun?
I was an inventor, researching ways to destroy the Sanguine.
What is your favorite part/memory?
Meeting Eleanor.
If you and your mate would go on a date, where would it be and why?
I took Eleanor to a café, but I’m not sure if that was a date as such. Perhaps the National Gallery.
What are your favorite weapons?
The aether gun that I designed.
What/who would you never want to come across again?
The Sanguine. Disgusting creatures.
If you could have a re-match. With who would that be?
I’d be quite happy to never have to battle a Sanguine again, to be totally frank.
How does it feel that somebody wrote a book about you?
I’m more concerned that the truth about Vampires is revealed, though I doubt that will alleviate so many years of superstition and fear.
And will we be reading about you in the future?
Sort of, yes. I am not allowed to share more than that.

Dying of a rare blood disease, Eleanor Franklin needs laudanum to ease the pain, often driven to steal in order to buy more. But when she steals a ruby she has no idea that the gem will tip her into the midst of a deadly species war.
Saved by Jefferson Park, she discovers a man with an even darker past than her own—he is one of the last true Vampires fighting to stop the eradication of his kind.
But the Sanguine aren’t the only problem as Eleanor finds herself falling in love with Jefferson. It is a relationship she cannot commit to, as she knows her time is limited, and she will not risk breaking his heart.
