Kit Colbana: assassin, thief, investigator extraordinaire. Now broken. She always expected her past to catch up with her but never like this. Haunted by nightmares and stripped of her identity, she’s retreated to Wolf Haven, the no-man’s land where she found refuge years before. But while she might want to hide away from the rest of the world, the rest of the world isn’t taking the hint.
Dragged kicking and screaming back into life, Kit is thrust head-first into an investigation surrounding the theft of an ancient relic…one that she wants nothing to do with. Her instincts tell her it’s a bad idea to just leave the relic lying about, but finding it might be just as bad.
Forced to face her nightmares, she uncovers hidden strength and comes face to face with one of the world’s original monsters.
If she survives the job, she won’t be the same…and neither will those closest to her.

Epic adventure mixed with passion. Wow what an amazing paranormal Romance series!
Since March 4th 2013 We have been waiting to read the next installment of the Colbana Files Series. BROKEN BLADE is thrilling and definitely the worth the waiting.
As for the previous installments of this amazing series the character and world building are off the scales. Kit Colbana and Damon are addicting to read about.
Negative parts where the division in the book. (book contains two parts) It read like a bucket of ice. From dimpling in part one in a page turning paranormal romance with Kit Colbana and Damon interaction to a Urban Fantasy with only Kit, action and her quest in finding herself. … Difficult!
BROKEN BLADE is full with emotion but not as heavy as the previous book. No kleenex moments (for me). Can’t hardly wait for the next installment, I hope it will not be a year! *Fingers crossed*.
–(spoiler allert)–
I would have given it a 5 stars wasn’t it for that one line. “wait for me I am getting there” … or something in that line (probely quoting it wrong) . I think the make-up (sex) between Kit and Damon gets it’s own book!
God, I love this series. I can’t wait to get this book. I loved the first two. Will probably do a re-read of them before book three is released. Great review. Now I’m even more on pins and needles to get this book.
