Kicking It is one hell of a Kick-ass urban fantasy!

This collection of amazing stories is always fun to read. They all take about 30 minutes so you can stop whenever you like, read each as in-between, between books or just storm through the whole collection of kick-ass stories with as main theme the boots. Featuring stories by FAITH HUNTER * KALAYNA PRICE * RACHEL CAINE * CHLOE NEILL * ROB THURMAN * SHANNON K. BUTCHER * LUCIENNE DIVER * CHRIS MARIE GREEN * CHRISTINA HENRY

I was hoping on some small stories to relieve some waiting time for the series by Faith Hunter and Chloe Neill but instead of my well addicted kick-ass characters these stories where about other characters from those series like for instance the Boot-loving Cadogan vampire Lindsey and vampire partner Luc (Chloe Neill) not really my favorites but fun to read about.

All stories are more Urban Fantasy than Paranormal Romance.

Some sort stories where better than others for instance: The bestselling author Rob Thurman who features Trixa Iktomi from her Trickster series dealing with magical vengeance and magical footwear. I personally have not read the Trickster series but really got interested after this introduction. It was fun and fast paced with a good combination of all to seduce you to read more in that small amount of pages.

If your a big fan of the paranormal romance than you maybe get a little disappointed this is more of an Urban fantasy collection but one fantastic one. This book is a fun book to get yourself for the holidays. And maybe after reading some of these stories you get triggered to read more by one of these fantastic authors. Enjoy!
