My Thoughts
As a prequel to a series, this short story op only 13 pages sets up the potential of what may be a great Series. You get to know the main characters Lucas and Natalia and fall rock hard for their unlikely romance. I look forward to see what Burning has started. Although the ending is not a happy one, it gives you some great ideas where book 2 may lead.
J.M. Gregoire has set a great world with interesting characters and can’t wait for her second book “The Devil You Know.”
