Night Prince Series by Jeaniene Frost
Once Burned (Night Prince #1)
After a tragic accident scarred her body and destroyed her dreams, Leila never imagined that the worst was still to come: terrifying powers that let her channel electricity and learn a person’s darkest secrets through a single touch. Leila is doomed to a life of solitude…until creatures of the night kidnap her, forcing her to reach out with a telepathic distress call to the world’s most infamous vampire…
He’s the Prince of Night…
Vlad Tepesh inspired the greatest vampire legend of all—but whatever you do, don’t call him Dracula. Vlad’s ability to control fire makes him one of the most feared vampires in existence, but his enemies have found a new weapon against him—a beautiful mortal with powers to match his own. When Vlad and Leila meet, however, passion ignites between them, threatening to consume them both. It will take everything that they are to stop an enemy intent on bringing them down in flames.

What we thought of the Night Prince Series by Jeaniene Frost
A tempting new trilogy from Jeaniene Frost. Leila a young human with a little something extra in heavy romance with our favorite Vlad from the Night Huntress series also from Jeaniene Frost.
Frost starts of with Once Burned. This exiting first installment kept me up till late at night. Fantastic book with even better world-building and amazing characters. Leila is a character you will love from the start. And with the teasing of Vlad in the Night Huntress Series a warm welcome, he finally got a chance to have his own book. Also the returning of the characters from the Night Huntress series was a surprise. Can’t have enough of Cat and Bones. After finishing this book late at night it didn’t stop me to turn the e-reader off and go to bed…. No of course I had to read the first pages of the second book Twice Tempted before I could rest.
This was not a wise plan. It ended of course a few hours later when my tired body won from my over eager reading mind. First I thought that I missed something when I started this book. It didn’t quite started where Once burned had ended. For a few pages I wondered if I missed a 1.5 version of this series. The transfer from book 1 and 2 could have been smoother. Also the characters and world-building of book one where missing some edge in second book.
The second part of Twice tempted was a little shallow, as if all the attention of Jeaniene Frost was already on the third and final book before she was done writing this one. I think a few chapters of the first part of the book and a larger part of the second could really have used a little more attention and character details or maybe the editors of the first book?!
Neverless all two of them big in the rating stars. 5 stars for once burned, 4 1/2 for Twice Temped. But only because I wanted to know how the Leila and Vlad story would continue if I have to honest I don’t think Twice tempted is really worth 4 stars. Still we hopefully anticipating the final book of this addicting series.
Night Prince #3
Last one of this trilogy.
