My Thoughts about STAY
I’ve only read a few of Michele Hauf’s books, but I am becoming a fan. This is a short story but Michele Hauf does it perfect. Unlike some other short stories I’ve read this one wasn’t rushed and everything was explained very well. The story had a natural pace that just flowed. I especially enjoyed her witty characters and world building. Even though this is a short story, Hauf still manages to skillfully get in enough world and character building to make it feel real and not rushed. I especially liked the build up between Magan and Lucien.

But when he is helping Megan to exorcise a spirit, he noticed that he started to care for her like no other and that he can’t let her go!
