Every myth you ever heard is true. Every monster exists.
Luna Sea Rakshasa inhabits The Dominion, a realm of immortals hidden within the world of humans. She is a Beanne Sidhe huntress, a killer of dark and dangerous things, but she harbors a secret that has been tearing her apart for nearly two thousand years. On the cusp of finally facing the demon vampire who sired her, the last thing she needs is an obsessed vampire who stirs things she would rather not feel.
Aveon Ap Conwy was human before he was found, dying on a battlefield, and turned into a vampire. For a century he has been tormented by the personal war to keep his humanity. Nothing has been stronger until the night he meets Luna. She arouses his deepest hungers, but Aveon knows he must resist his urge to take her…because if he tastes on drop of her blood, they will both be lost.
Thrown together in an unwelcome alliance and fighting the heat that simmers between them, they travel to the mythical domain of Luna’s demon sire. As their worlds merge Luna and Aveon become bound by something stronger than lust. Can Luna lay aside centuries of prejudice and open her heart to the only man who can stand beside her in the battle with the vampire king.
Lunacy and the Vampire is the first installment of the Dominion Series by Evie Jayne what promises to be an exciting addition to the PPRW ” (Paranormal Romance Readers World), Evie Jayne has written about an unique world full of vampires and of course the kick-ass heroine Luna!
Lunacy and the Vampire is really an interesting read, it got me hooked from the first page. It’s not one to compare with other books from this genre. Lunacy and the Vampire is really one of a kind. Evie Jayne did a great job writing this book it has all the elements you are looking for in a good paranormal romance. Action, fun strong characters all together in a realistic world setting steamy scenes and fast-passed action, this book will make you crave for more.
[quote]He’d been young when he’d been turned, maybe late twenties. He looked tough, sinewy and strong, with close cropped sable hair and a sinfully full mouth. Yes, beautiful. Stunning, in fact.He stared at Luna with hunger in the depths of his ice blue eyes. Even looking worn and underfed, the vampire radiated a wild danger that sent a thrill through her entire body.
What the hell! Shocked and angry with her irritatingly female reaction, she glared at the offending vampire, not bothering to disguise her loathing. Who was this freaking leech, and what was he doing to her?

The story around Luna and Aveon is very good. You can almost feel the tension and I love how Evie let Aveon work for Luna’s love, blood struggling ready to fight of his love 100%!
Although the interesting naming and explaining of the unique characters could get al little bit more attention on the writers site it is still for me a strong addition to the paranormal and urban fantasy readers world.
I am curious to what book 2 will bring me.
Maybe more different kind of paranormal characters? I really don’t care I just want to read more books from this fantastic new Dominion Series.
Happy reading!
