What do you think of your author?
S. K. Yule? Obviously, I think a lot of her. Let’s face it, I wouldn’t be here without her. I can’t say I love all of the things she put me through in Lycan Redemption, but hey, I’d do it all over again if it meant being with Myka.
Speaking of Myka, your mate, how did you feel the first time you saw her?
That’s a hard one to explain. Since the first time I saw her wasn’t surrounded by the best of circumstances, what should have been the most amazing moment in my life was tainted with anger and worry about her safety. Don’t get me wrong, I felt more alive than I had in my hundreds of years of existence the first time I saw her. She still takes my breath away each time I look at her, but the danger I ultimately put her in was not ideal. She’s an angel who berates me for blaming myself for what happened. (You’ll have to read my story to find out the details.)
How did the fact that she had a child make you feel?
It was shocking at first. I can’t deny my initial jealousy at the thought of her being with another man, let alone bearing his child, but how could I hold a grudge against her for living her life? I was no innocent, so why should I expect her to be? It didn’t change anything–not how I felt about her, about the kid, nothing. Even when I found out later that Patrick was really her nephew, it didn’t change a thing.
What is your favorite thing about Myka?
*grunts* How am I supposed to name one thing? I love everything about Myka. The way she smiles, the way she scowls when I make her angry, even the way she has a talent for getting covered in grime and dirt when cleaning the stalls in the barn (that is, when she gets to them before me). I can’t think of one thing I don’t like about Myka.
What is your favorite food?
Meat. I am a lycan after all.
Where would you take Myka if you planned a romantic night together?
On a picnic in the woods surrounding our home. She loves the outdoors as much as I do, and there is nothing better than good food and good love under the moon.
What is one book everyone should read?
*raises an eybrow* Is that a trick question?
Boxers or briefs?
I find them both constricting when trying to shed my clothes to shift on the fly. Neither.
Do you sleep in pajamas or in the buff?
I prefer the buff, but with Patrick around, I try to keep a pair of jeans beside the bed. I’m still working on Myka. I’d prefer to her to sleep in the buff too, but she won’t give. *whispers* I do win on occasion though. Nothing like cuddling, naked, with your woman all night.
When you die, what would you like your tombstone to say?
Who says I’m going to die?
Do you like being a lycan?
Do you like being human? I don’t even know how to answer that. I’ve been one my whole life. Or course, it has its perks—heightened senses, exceptionally long lifespan, the ability to heal fast…
What does Myka think about you being a lycan?
At first I think she had the typical human response. You know, scared shitless. Now that she’s one too, I don’t think she gives it a second thought. Did I mention how incredible my mate is?
Do lycans shed?
Really? What am I, a pet or something?
Last question, why should we read Lycan Redemption?
Easy. It’s full of life lessons and proves that love truly can conquer all. And to stand up and fight for what is yours.
